Book Arts NL
The Book Arts Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (BAANAL—yes, we love our acronym, and we’re anything but…) is a group of book makers, collectors, readers and lovers who meet occasionally to discuss and celebrate the art of book making and printing. The organization hosts a biennial wayzgoose (printing celebration) and co-hosts an annual edible books competition and tea party. Other events presented by BAANAL include presentations about books and bookmaking, workshops, and visits to libraries and printing studios.
